I was wondering that while sexual harassment cases that involve high profile public persona gets publicized and talked about, take either the KPS Gill, Phaneesh Krishnamurthy or the latest one involving David Davidar, how do we deal with the numerous incidents that occurs everyday in big and small offices, with ordinary women by their fellow workers?
In all high profile cases the complainants are also senior colleagues of the accused, which reflecst taht iot can happen to anybody. However, they also otherwise appear as very strong women who have the will to fight it out. Does it also mean that they have a more clear understanding about what constitutes sexual harassment and a support system that helps them fight? In that case do we need to have trainings for employees to identify and deal with sexual harassment? What is the answer?
